ADAMS ESQ is a public interest law firm serving low-income students with disabilities throughout California and Nevada. We fight for special education services and supports, including tutoring, speech therapy, mental health services and appropriate educational placements. Founded in 2002, we are the first for-profit law firm in California and Nevada to provide special education legal services on a contingency basis. Our unique business model “evens the playing field” and creates access to justice for many families who otherwise lack the financial resources to challenge large school districts.
Our bilingual staff of paralegals and assistants have been part of the ADAMS ESQ family for an average of over 10 years, providing continuity and expertise for our clients and the special education community at large. In addition, ADAMS ESQ contracts with over 21 experienced litigation attorneys to assist our clients. This has allowed us to provide a quality and consistency in legal service that is unmatched by our competitors—typically small or solo practitioners.
ADAMS ESQ is nationally recognized. We frequently sponsor parent workshops and legal seminars, and have recently appeared in special education law conferences in San Francisco, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Pennsylvania, Texas and Maryland.
